Tangleboxing is scheduled to begin JUNE 21, 2010 and conclude on SEPTEMBER 13, 2010.  Passports will be availabe for purchase on June 21st.   For the summer of 2010, we are very pleased to announce that we have again partnered with the City of McMinnville Parks and Recreation Department.  Of the 11 parks that are included in this year’s event, 4 of the sites will be City of McMinnville parks and Passports will be available for sale at the McMinnville Aquatic Center, Senior Center, and Community Center.  Yamhill County Parks hopes to partner with other local-area parks and recreation providers to help showcase some of their parks in future years.     We would love to hear more about your Tangleboxing adventures and experiences - or - if you have suggestions for improving the program, please email Yamhill County Parks.   FOR UPDATES AND STATUS REPORTS ON TANGLEBOXES, PLEASE GO TO THE IMPORTANT UPDATES SECTION OF THIS WEBSITE (link is provided on menu at the right side of this page)!   Thank you very much and we hope to see you Tangleboxing this summer!   Important Reminders: While you are searching for and upon finding each Tanglebox, remember that like all treasure hunts, there is an element of secrecy in this activity.  Try to be discreet when opening the Tangleboxes and while stamping your passports, as to prevent disclosing the hiding spot to other Tangleboxers.  When returning the Tanglebox to its hiding spot, try to ensure that it is hidden and any disturbances that you may have created around the hiding spot is repaired/covered up.    New for this year, the Tangleboxes themselves have had a make-over.  The boxes are waterproof, plastic boxes; instead of the black metal boxes from years past.  All of the Tangleboxes are clearly marked with Tanglebox logos.
